After some investigation on internet i have listed a few problems it could be becm... fuse box problem.. I have been looking at the sync mate from blackbox.. i find that more investigation that some people have used these and have solved there problems.. right the thing is i do not want to take a gamble buy (or possible swap my car) for the range and have to spend more money to get I.E the becm re synced or even have to buy a new one.. SO COULD DO WITH SOME HELP HERE please guys any body local to birmingham west midlands i could speak to who has such sync mate or anything like it that could help... i will say thanks now for anybody that gives me any info or contacts me with so kind of help

Welcome! Personally I would leave it there is loads out there for sale, unless its rock bottom price I.e a few hundred quid! They can become money pits and the electronics can give you a massive headache! I've been very lucky with mine so far and its really a great car so good luck and remember there's always another for sale.

As tommo said unless it's a few hundred quid and you are prepared to spend a lot of time and cash sorting it, leave it well alone:)

I would say leave it and look elsewhere. If it was an easy fix the seller would of done it before selling.
