Hi all,

Another little problem to keep me amused.

My original clarion radio/cassette players LCD lights brightly accross the virtualy the whole screen, you can see a few nos. at the top right.

All works fine apart from the LCD.

Any ideas if this could be a self repair or is it a bin job.
I have tried to get a service manual but n go so far.

Are there any replacements for this system if it can't be repaired?

I have a 4.6 HSE with the posh speakers.

Thank's

at least your not alone, mine has been going brighter bit by bit over the last few years, i can now only just read it by knowing which channell i am on

There is a firm in Sheffield I think that replaces the display plus gives the unit a service for a fixed charge of around £90. They are associated with an American Co. that specialises in the Diversity. Try a websearch or they may have something on Range Rovers

Hi I sent mine off to Clarion repair on Ebay they refurbished it and added an ipod cable for less than 100 pounds inc postage

Thank you all for you replys

I have emailed Clarion at Swindon and will arrange to have them repair it.

Radron ... how was the service and what sort of connection was supplied for the mp3 player ?
