Need to replace fuel pipe feed pump to filter -LR independent tells me this part WJP106400 is no longer available so what is everyone else doing obout this -does anyone make them up these days

Dopey I think has just done that, check the likes of Island 4 x 4 or Rimmers for the part.

WJP106400 £221.29 from Rimmers but out of stock. Needs back order. In other words it costs a bloody fortune for what it is, so you pay us first and we will get you one. :D:D

I made mine from correct diameter copper pipe, jubilee clipped at either end,I used the fuel filter from a mk2 cavalier Sri,or any one will do as long as it has tails,I also crimped on olive on to each end of the pipe to stop hose from blowing off ,works perfect

The copper pipe was the flexible stuff like brake pipe,I also soldered the olives too just to make sure they stayed in place,as for the steel pipes from filter to engine I used a flaring tool and put a flare on them (in situ) to help hold hoses on ,make sure you buy high pressure fuel hose, not the stuff designed for carbs, I had to do mine because it developed a leak at tank fuel pump ,just as it comes out of the pump on the 90 degree bend ,so when I installed the new one I covered all the metal pipes at the pump with copper grease ,so it might last a little longer, don't fancy having to drop the tank again anytime soon good luck a lot cheaper than £ 220 odd quid
