my orange light is on and engine has lost power,put snap on scanner on it ,came up with injection lift sensor fault code 142 came up i have fitted new injector,light is still on and dont have any power,when i am driving rangerover is running lumpy, anyone have any ideas where i should look next ?????

Friend of mine had something similar with his diesel, turned out to be problem with the DMF, couple of the lugs that the crank sensor picks up on had broke off.

That codes means the needle lift sensor is not matching the crank sensor so if you have already changed the needle lift injector and checked the wiring from it then could be as KDS says
