The Rangie is a classier car, but in my opinion the 2.5 TD lump is a wee bit underpowered for a 2.5 tonne behemoth, especially with the automatic gearbox - not an ideal combination for heavy towing imo. For an every day vehicle I would go with the TD5, but for a weekend/special occasions car I would go for the Rangie (but with a V8 and LPG).

hi langers, have you ever tried a p38 doozel fitted with a psi powerbox, makes a hell of a difference to the performace,it goes like a good un with that fitted.:D:D:D

No mate, never - I have always thought that the P38 could be a pretty awesome car with a more powerful doozul under the hood - especially one made by the Germans. How much more bhp/torque does the PSI give? Only ask because my dad has a 2.5 DT with a manual gb, he's been complaining about the lack of power recently.
