After much debate I've removed the 20" Stormers fitted with 295/40's and fitted 18" Hurricanes ( shod with 255/55 Bridgestones ) .... wish I had done it a year ago ! No more manic tram-lining on bumpy /uneven Irish 'B' roads....:D
The wife says I no longer look like a pimp driving through town !!

See the designer knows best, bling wheels and coil spring conversions should be left on the shelf, nowt like OEM,,,,,,:)

I've heard from my local specialist that even 18" wheels are too big and the steering like a pig comes back when your tyres are half worn. I'm told that 16" handle best-they look far too small tho'. I can't go that small and am sticking with 18" mondials as standard 4.6 autobiography. It seems that the new General AT is the tyre to have for all round use, any comments?

Sarcasm's a low form of wit, however, by man inches I think 18' may well have a 23" or so radius!!! Anyway, saw an L322 today with 24" wheels on, looked bloody silly if you ask me and I bet the ride was s***, and absolutely terrible on anything worse then damp tarmac
