BTW the screenshot above is just the default values in Nanocom Emulator as an example - - not a real car !!
So chappy turned up with the Nanocom reader yesterday. No luck, later found out after some googling that the tool needs the access code, doh! So he is back next weekend. If anyone is interested he has a couple of P38 diesels for sale listed on fb market place, both with long MOT, one has hot start issues and the other is good but scruffy. I think he has priced them two high at £3750 for both and who would buy two? I have offered to help him with the sale and will stick some info on here.

Hot start issue easily fixed by retiming the FIP. Is that £3750 for the two or each? If it's for the two, it's not that far off.

It is for two, one is a 96 with 89k and the better one cosmetically is a 99 189k with hot start issue. The chap is a diesel mechanic and thought a leaking pump was a simple fix on the P38 but it turned into a can of worms for him, so he put it all back together and pretended it never happened. He bought the 96 to do an engine swap which was a bit extreme for a dodgy pump? I suppose I am tight when it comes to buying vehicles. Just not the best time of year or financial climate for big 4X4. Did you have a look at the Youtube vid I sent?

There Is a couple of 38's over here on fb, after speaking to a couple who had previously visited the cars for their son. Turns out they were both boiled within an inch of their lives!!!! The cars that is🤣😂

Like the scrapper I bought, I assumed cracked head but I could have got lucky. I have had more than I paid for it in parts :)
