Changed to coil springs and an uprated ECU - two essential mods, without which I wouldn't have bought it!
Saga refused to cover me, and wouldn't say why!
So now looking at £658 a year with Admiral
Thanks for the best wishes :)

Ah right , so not just a quick change thing :( Ouch @ £658. I know you've probably tried everyone, and I can't remember if it was First Direct or Direct Line I went to when I first got my L322, but, out of a sea of silly quotes (due to my job) , they were half the price of everyone else. Maybe try them if you haven't already. :)

Try Hastings always been decent with me for my disco and now P38. £230 a year fully comp age 61 and don't want to know about illness unless DVLA reportable

Thanks, will try First Direct tomorrow, Direct Line have a short list of 'mods' they'll accept, and suspension isn't on it.

Ta, will try them too, though Parkinson's is DVLA reportable.
Best of luck sorry to hear about the Parkinson's. There are quite a few of us on LZ with various illnesses so you are not alone. I have found that there is always some one who will help out in many different ways

I am with LV and on my last Rangie 4.6HSE the fact it had LPG made no difference.
I now have an unaltered 4.6 Vogue and my premium is about the same at £244.81 fully Comp with max no-claims.

Ah yes, how is Nurse Moist?

Thanks guys. Sorted now, bought a fairly lovely 127,000 mile P38 from a chap who turns out to be a mod for Green Ovals! He recommended Lancaster, who at first quoted me over £1100 until I fired back the seller's premium with them on that car...and they more than halved it. Wish us luck!

Oddly, where when driving my old Honda CR-V my affected right hand would lie dormant in my lap, in the new Rangie I suddenly realised whilst driving along that there it was, gripping the wheel at 2 o'clock as it should!
See, Range Rovers are good for you! :D

The seats and driving position are some of the best out there.
