Hi All,

Got a 2000 P38 Auto, serviced & MOT'd recently, that has started having a problem accelerating. If I put my foot down it is really struggling to pick up speed and it seems to be getting worse. It feels as though there is no power getting to the engine when I put my foot down?

Any idea's much appreciated.

Yep sent it for cleaning along with my glass eye.

I think that he's admitted before that he drives a time bomb , I mean a V8.

I'd go with MAF sensor. Just changed mine due to similar issue. Bosch only, don't go aftermarket.

How many miles? V8s are ready for a camshaft and timing chain after 80/90k.

Also do a compression check.
