Hi,

Went out in the P38 today after its been stuck having the gear box done for 2 month and got soaked.. water coming through interior light, and also in the back corners of the roof lining around the sunroof... The sun shade that slides back into the roof was absolutely soaked when I closed it..

Any ides how I can fix this?
 
There's a drain off tube in the corner some place, its probably blocked up, have another look and unblock it

yeah theres one either side at the front of the sunroof but ive poured water down them and they are both clear..
 
Then its your seals, you'll have to replace them, so it dosn't get in there in the first place
 
Never done it....but i would say have a bash first at lest, what you got to lose? but you have a lot to save
 
Just had a look at the rave CD (down load it, its on the front page) it could be out of alignment? it tells you how to adjust it
 
hi mine did exactly the same and luckily it was the drain tubes blocked at the front !! open the front doors and squeeze your hand in between the door and wing and squeeze the end of the drain tube to release any crap in it !!

Yeah maybe it could be that, because the display says sunroof not set all the time but when I try set it fir the one touch operation, it wont work.. So maybe that also could be with it been out of alignment.. Where can I download this cd from? and what is it?

I have the p38 workshop manual on disk, will that help?

Ill try that mate, although the tubes do seem clear as there letting water out, but Ill give it a go just incase.. Cheers..
 
Hi had same problem Monday tried pushing a wire though drain pipes in sunroof woundn't go thought so i opened front doors halfway to slide hane inbetween door wing and door piller removed cone shaped end full of crap and about a pint of water cleaned and refitted same other side cheap 10 minute fix thanks for the help Andy :D
