I mean the little square micro switch attached to the RH bonnet catch.
I took out the grill and the centre piece (I think call the bash plate or similar), still cant get to it. I can just get some fingers in to put it into place but still get the bonnet open message. Someone said it is a 2 min job so there must be some trick I've missed. It looks as though the next thing will be to remove the batter & battery tray.
Any tips on this gratefully received  Thanks.

Take the slam panel off. Fiddly but do able. A pair of fine nosed pliers helps.

Yes, that's it. I removed it but still very little access as there are some other body parts in the way - I cant even see the thing so not really sure what I am doing with it. Think I'll have to take out the battery & a few other bits after all. :(

sorry to hijack the thread but how do you do the passenger side micro switch i need to disconnect it due to it going of all the time whilst driving and setting of the alarm when its parked up was hoping if it was disconnected it would stop doing this as its really annoying

Look on RAVE - you see what colour wires the switch is...then cut them or do what is required to tell the BeCM the door is closed!

or get a second hand lock mechanism off Emmots or similar for a few quid and have it working properly ;)
