would anyone know how to apply the switch ( manuel override ) and voltage onto the blower motor as it seems a potential quick fix for now ?
I have a spare plug from the replacement motor but not sure where negative and positive feed would go, or even if its a 12 or 9 volt I have to apply till I get the relevant work in place to fix the fault.

I just took the triangular panel off under glove box /side of center consul. You can see cable from HEVAC that goes to blend motor. Cut it to expose wires, black and brown are motor wires. Connector block to these and then 2 extended wires to side of seat and used a 9v (no bigger) battery, one of those used in smoke detector , and by swapping polarity at battery blend motor will turn up and down I popped panel back into place to make it look tidy and tucked the 2 wires down side of seat. Kept a couple of batteries in centre console box

I use the spare plug I have so I don't need to expose or cut existing wires for proper repairs later on. I think it has 3 wires coming out or so.
Just plug original undamaged back on it, when the blend motor works.
The blend is to the top, so thats fine to keep windows clear.

I wasn't sure If the motor takes 12 volt supply or not, but that explains.
9 volt it is.
I have a 9 volt motorbike batterie which I can store behind the passenger seat for extended use before recharging.
And a switch which can be routed invisible till I fix the whole lot.

Are we talking about blend motors or blower motors. Blend have 5 wires blower 2 wires. What I have described is for the blend motor which alters the temp hot to cold and vice versa, 5 wires
 
Yeah. I can access it easy.
Just trying to figure out how much volt the motor need ( 9 or 12 volt ) but hope its 12 and which wires I need to connect to a switch to make it blow till I can dismantle the dash and replace the blend motor.until then it needs to do over a switch to get it blowing.

If anyone has an idea where what , is feeding to, and if this motor works on 12 or 9 volt would be appreacheate for now.

There are 4 wires to the blower motor, the 2 you want are White/Pink which is ground and RED which is 12 volts. RAVE is not clear but I think the motor will run at full speed with 12 volts applied to those 2 wires. You must unplug the feed connector or there is the possibility of HEVAC damage otherwise.
 
I’ve you have to take out the dash do the lot blowers blend and heater matrix it’s a once in a lifetime job I hope fit all new draft excluder why your there and hopefully be good for another 10 years

Thats s the plan after the winter.
Just spend 380 pound on glowplugs. Cranckshaft sensors. Oilfilter and oilchange, both temp sensors below the manifold seals and stuff incl the mechanic. Lol.
The next part has to wait a couple month now. Lol
 
Ha ha. In all fairness. 3 years of ownership. 3 mot past without problems.
New radiator, eas problem sorted, right side heather blower replaced. New glowplugs, crankshaft sensor. Heather sensors, new gaskets, oilchange and filter, replacement tyres at type, and some other bits and bobs.
Can't really moan about it. Lol
I heard about worse .
