What a pain in the back side these things are to change. Just got half way through this afternoon. Managed to get cut through the bloody heater vent thats in the way in 2 hours. Won't take that long to put it all back together. Should have had a better saw.

This my first p38. Had it 2 weeks. Inherited a battery drain and a leaking set of matrix seals.

Yes mate, loving the v8 rumble though. Got the sun roof and the cruise control to fix after this lot.

Welcome to the club at least you've made a start, in a few weeks time you'll probably be getting inter-mate with the blend motors. Its all part of the joys of P38 ownership. But just think of the satisfaction when it all working.

Yep, its a full time hobby. The aircom, has the little book visible. Outside temp was -40 yesterday.

Well the seals are done, just finished putting all the vents back together with duck tape. Seals where like little solid carbon rings. Just broke to prices taking them off.

Must have disturbed the seal when changing the coolant and squeezing hoses.

Yeah the wirral can be like siberia!
