My P38 P reg 1997 4.6 V8 HSE has developed an annoying fault especially as it is now so cold.
When I start the car both blower fans may work or they may not, if they do not operate, no matter what setting I put on the HEVAC unit, manual or auto Hi or otherwise they still dont work, even with some should I say gentle "tapping" around the centre console area they dont start up, other items on the HEVAC unit heated windscreen rear window operate and this unit is lit up as it should. They may start all by themselves some time later or they may not. I could drive for say, 5 minutes turn the engine off restart the car and the fans may come on or they may not. Once they are working, they will work fine for the rest of the journey. Its not like its a loose connection its not that intermittant.
