Hi All has any one got a set of exhaust heat shields for sale ? the type that go round the manifold ?
its a 4.0 2002 Rangy V8

It maybe a very good idea.

OK. I'm only asking because I don't know, but is it important I refit them?
I know the clue's in the title and they're there to shield the heat; but on the drivers side all the leads are clipped out of the way of the manifold, and on the passenger side I've put heat shield inderneath the maf and plastic air intake gubbins (or of course it would melt). What else should I be concerned about?
They've been left off for nearly 2 years with no problems.

Land Rover certainly wouldn't have fitted them if they weren't needed. Just think how much money they would of saved :)

Or maybe how much money they could make selling new ones after people twist them to bu**ery trying to remove them!
But doesn't really answer my question.

I threw mine in the bin when I did my heads, finger slicing things to get out. If I was doing long trips I would just wrap my manifold in some special tape I have.
