hi i have a p38 and would like to upgrade the headlights i know the l322 headlights will go in but have to modifiy my truck for them to fit are there any lights out there that would be a direct replacement

yes . . buy some Osram Night Breaker Bulbs. Better lighting, and keeps the P38 looks.

This depends on whether he is looking to improve P38 lighting or underpigeon it..

Dont do it!!! The headlights look too big on the L322, on a P38 positively goggle eyed!

If you have an early car with white head lights the swap to black lights looks good imo

hi thanks for all your help and comments i will opt for the late p38 headlights with the black inserts and upgrade the bulbs

do you know you can modify your own headlights ,separate the glass from the headlight reflector with a heat gun,paint it then refit the glass with sealant,cheaper than buying new parts

true, but CAREFULLY does it! take care not to crack the glass or break the plastic rear of the light unit,especially the edges nearest the glas, whichs can crack and fall apart very easily.
