getting near fitting up plumbing, but the gems has a weird (to me) plumbing setup..its going in a classic...
can i fit thermostat in the inlet manifold and plumb up as per v8 in classic, ie heater pipes, feed to and from rad..OR do i have to use gems plumbing?

i expect can use classic plumbing setup, but worried case coolent flow is altered in later style rv8?

can i indeed fit the thermostat in the gems inlet manifold, or is there no provision for it?

late 3.9 were serp and used classic plumbing.not a scooby re stat fitting.
