Does it really make any difference using cheap allmakes plugs, compared to the O/E variant. Anybody got experience with this. There is a huge difference in price. Will the O/E one's make starting easier. Do they glow hotter, quicker or something......I would expect that they may last longer but, do they give superior starting?

Yes it makes a difference, replaced mine couple months ago with cheapo ones and it needed two heats to start, it started better on the four that were working! Shot round to Linco`s ( local motor factors only 5 mins from me ) and got NGK ones same sort I fitted 3 or 4 years ago starts first time now with one heat.

Fit BERU glowplugs, it's factory equipment.
