Just thought I'd got all the problems fixed - and now it wont go!!!
Drove home OK last night and went to start it today. All seemed normal, indicatoin lights came on and off as normal, waited for heater plug lights to go out and then moved starter switch to position 3. Turned over fast enough - just wouldnt fire.
No indication that the immobilisor was on on the message display (just the usual milleage displays). No engine fault light lit.
My first thought is heater plugs. Looking at the electronic fault finding manual it looks like the ECU monitors that current is actually flowing in the heater plugs. So I would have expected a fault to be displayed. I have also checked that there is voltage getting to the heater plugs.
Hooked up the faultmate - fault code 0201B engine immobiliser line link fault - too high. fault logged. Current.
Does anyone know what that means - or even better how to fix it????
