Guys

Had problems with alarm going off m finally got a glimpse of error message

" door open LH/R"

The door is shut and can be locked but the power windows gone off ?

Possible fuse ?

Any suggestions

Cheers
Chris

Sounds like a faulty m/switch in door catch.Get the door card off to check for bad/dirty/loose/corroded connections ,and check where the wiring goes from body to door.

Ok

Door card off all wires look ok?

Central locking works

But the window won't go up or down returns window not set error from both door control and centre consul ? So power is getting to the door

Can't drive car as car thinks door open and won't raise off the ground

Anymore suggestions ??

Cheers

You can't tell if the wires are broken by just looking at them, the wire breaks inside the insulation. You have to test them with an ohm meter for continuity, or a voltmeter to check for the correct voltage/ earth levels.

I don't think wires are broken otherwise c/l wouldn't work , or feedback from window switch ?

Or am I grasping at straws

C/L and Windows use diffreent wiring in the loom - so it is possible for one to be broken whilst the remainder of the services are fully functional....

It's all in RAVE - as attached....

Hope it helps.
