i have an early 95 p38 diesel, that has been modded, power box,big intercooler etc.....
i have just been given another psi power, the model number is pb200008
from what i have found on line, this is for the later p38 diesel 1999 onwards.
can anyone confirm this? thanks

PSI Powerbox for P38 diesels 1994 to 1999 part number is DA4419. Powerbox for P38 diesel 2000 to 2001 is part number DA4420. These part numbers should be displayed on the label.

i had a read of that post earlier :). looks like this power box is the later unit. no good for me as i have a 95 p38. looks like it will find its way on to ebay.
i just wanted to make sure it worked first. i was told it was fully working, the person i got it off, took the lid off to have a look inside. there is a variable resistor , that you can adjust...he had a play and set it to the best performance with the least amount of black smoke.

Yes, it just fools the ECU into thinking less fuel is going in so it chucks more fuel in. How that affects the heat distribution on a head already near its limit is anyone's guess.
