@Rick-the-Pick

Having issues with my p38 not starting, read so many threads on here, 1 baffled me by refering to a spider in a p38? @wammers maybe able to help?

Biggest issue i have is

Engine immobiliser link fault

Too low one minute and to high the next

N reg 2.5 diesel auto

Never started in my ownership, i have nanocom and have made sure immobiliser codes match

Swapped, becm, fuse.board, engine ecu all from my.other p38 so all good.known units

Just a grasping of straws....
The plug for the fuel pump at the side of the engine... Is it secure and tight. Dont forget the becm talks to the fuel pump and can immobilize it?
Is it the proper fuel pump also.
Peeps get them wrong wronking the vauxhall and Range Rovers have the same pump.. similar but not the same....
Just a few ideas. Not meaning to distract.;)

Is the diesel stop solenoid on the injection pump opening, can you feel it click when ignition turned on.
With out that working it will turn over and not fire up.

I take it the BECM has been matched to your car and not just another one dropped in?

Set at early, if set to late the timing goes up to nearly 100 but set ot early its around 50

I have been getting help of some ver knowledge guyd

Obviously not knowledgeable enough. You will never get fuel to injectors if ECU is not setting quantity control to start fuel. You cannot just swap a BECM. What do you mean timing? Modulation cannot be read unless engine is running.

Bottom line is the timing referred to

Could you shed some light please on quantity control to start fuel

The donor becm is from similar car and was running the other car fine, i appriciate i may have not set it up correctly
