PSI power box seems to be popular, around £250.00 i think, shop around.

do you know how good they are and do you know if they are reliable or cause any probs with the ecu? cheers

I don't have one mine is chipped in th ECU, but a few others on here have and all reports are very good. Transformation of performance is claimed. But don't fit one if you have a duff motor, get it running as well as it can before you fit one. Don't use a power box as an alternative to a well maintained engine. Or as a boost for a sick motor.

no appreciate that mate gonna see if i can tighten the leaky injector tomorrow if i cant i will replace it apart from the low mpg which i think is down to the leaky injector it running fine thanks for the advice

Which injector do you think is leaking. And where from?

the one closet the rad, there is a small very small puddle of diesel at the bottom of it, but my mpg has dropped loads by about 5-6mpg

That will most certainly not be the injector leaking, but the spill pipe that connects them together to spill off excess fuel. Get a couple of metres of it and replace all of them and the pipe that goes to the return.

ok mate im much of a novice when it comes to things like that is it easy enough to do sorry to be a pain!

It's a bit fiddly but not all that difficult. Remove top cover you will see them, pull old ones off and cut new ones to length from old ones. Leaking fuel won't be helping. Change the air filter that may help your fuel consumpion also.

changed air filter couple of months ago but may well be wet or icy due to the adverse weather, many thanks once again

Retail £250
Cost to make.....£0.89....!
Do the maths!

Ok then perhaps with your consumate knowledge of the PSI power box and it's components. You could post a parts required list and a wiring diagram so we can all make one. That would be a valuable contribution to the forum don't you think?

What is the point in saying things like that if you're not prepared to let folks know how to make them:confused:

I think we all know that electronic gizmos are pretty cheap to make as compared to their market price. I think he may have been a little bit out with his estimate though. Thing is he just does not know.
