Hi all , P38 auto diesel started fine ,now ignition goes on turn key to start and nothing relay seems ok , gear selector in the right place, battery fully charged , it has been starting fine with no issues no info on the dash read out all looks ok can anyone point me in the right direction please:D

More info needed, does it crank and not start or does it not crank?
No cranking could be a bad connection, broken wire, faulty relay or fuse, fuse box or the starter itself.
If it cranks but doesn't start it could be loss of sync.
If it's auto have you tried the gear lever in P and N?

Hi it doesn't crank have tyres it in park and drive no difference it started 2 days ago no problem is the relay the same as the other yellow ones in the fuse box will check fuses now

All the yellow relays are the same. Check the earth link from the engine to the chassis and ckeck the heavy cable to the starter has not broken inside the insulation, you can do this by taking a jump lead from the battery positive to the starter. Also worth tapping the starter solenoid while operating the key in case that is dodgy.

Also a possibility is gearbox switch as it wont crank if it thinks its it drive
Whats the letter on the dash say? Ie..D=drive P =park ect

Thanks for the ideas checked the wiring with am fault tracer and all seemed well had a look at the selector readout on dash and it was at the right icons for the gears a gave it a good hammer back and forth and then it started here's hoping thanks for,the tech stuff guys it's appreciated

There seems to be a big fuse missing in the fuse box a 50 amp one that has a engine with lightning going through it on the pic inside the lid what's this for any ideas cheers

Does everything work? Not all fuses are fitted on all models, check the list on the lid or look at your owners manual.

It has terminals in it like you could power a fuse if you stuck on in ! Now there's an idea lol , i won't tho . lossed power to the rear windows now my how it's trying my patients

That would be really useful if you had a petrol engine. :);)
