I loved towing with the 4.6 used to change gear at 1700rpm on light throttle and upto 3k if I wanted to get a move on.

Felt like a tuned DSE with 3 ton on the back ;)

It felt like a grunty V8. ;)

Rads are a piece of pish to replace on the P38.
 
There’s something on here about when my viscous fan failed, blew out my rad, overheated til it went into limp mode (with manual Gbox) kept driving as couldn’t leave it there, really bad overheat and not the first @143,000miles, head is still fine :)

I assume you mean when your viscous fan failed?
