I have a similar problem with a BMW group I belong to. A lot of talk, but very little actual help so there's not an awful lot to contribute, nor is there much to gain. At least mine's an E38 (yeah I have an E38 and a P38, go figure) with relatively well documented issues, and fewer of them than the newer cars.
It's not like here, or rangerovers.net where there's people who are willing to share and help out. The ego padding isn't much of an issue. People who feel the need to can inflate their egos all they want with the EAS compressor of their choice, so long as people asking for help can get it from people willing to help, as opposed to getting a "use the search function" all the time.
Either way,
@kermit_rr the part numbers for Land Rover, as well as the Ring equivalents are in my post over there. Use the link if you like or whatever other way there is to find it, to get there. I'm curious to know how someone using the Ring equivalents will colour the light bulbs, though. The originals have these little coloured silicon condoms on them to turn the light green or amber as the case may be but they're far too fragile to remove safely from the originals to transplant onto the Ring bulbs (CHILDREN: This is a very foolish thing only people with Range Rovers will do. Do NOT reuse condoms, EVER). Using a marker pen is unlikely to last so I'm wondering if there's a kind of translucent paint or plasti dip or model airplane shrink film possibility that has been explored.
Anybody?
