I bought mine as it was cheap just had a cam belt and clutch diesel £600, ran it for 6 years put 70000 mile on it had a few sets of tyres didn't even service it sold it for £400, cant fault it well apart from the lack of street cred!:)

Still not fixed this so what other wheels can I fit?
Ideally with a photo as I am stupid

You've got p38 wheels (with knobbly tyres) you had to buy the P38 nuts for and L322 ones complete with spigot rings and nuts but road tyres?

P38 alloys or L322 alloys will fit so long as you have the correct nuts/spigots?

What is the ANR number stamped on your 16s you want to fit?

Just to recap
I had P38 alloys with the off road tyres on, but they had been fitted using the L322 nuts so have damaged the alloys.
I need a set of 16" Alloys to fit and obviously new nuts

The ones I have been offered ar Disco 1 300TDI wheels which I believe wont fit? No idea of the number

Don't think so. Some Disco 2 wheels will fit but be careful because some of the D2 wheels had 24mm nuts and not 27mm ones.

Safest to get a set of P38 wheels with tyres off the Bay. Usually you can get all 4 for £120 if you wait. That's one of the reasons I have 2 spare sets even though I sold another set a few years ago!

Problem is by the time I buy them and nuts change the tyres over its expensive, not seen any locally either, will keep looking

The deed is done
The sizes on the back matched he told me they are from a P38 but I thought D2??
£100 for wheels
£40 for nuts
£60 to swap them over
Old wheels weighed in for £45.
Old tyres to the tip
An expensive day but had to be done for safety
