I thought I'd start a different thread as this is a much simpler question that I'm hoping anyone with a P38 on EAS could answer.
With the engine running, bonnet up and the car in the level position my eas compressor runs for about 20 seconds then goes off for about 10 seconds, then on for 20 and off for 10 etc.. etc.. in this cycle.
Is this normal? Does anyone elses car do this? It does it even if we're sat in traffic with the bonnet down etc... I suspect an air leak or something but can anyone qualify if this cycle of activity is normal for the compressor?
