Hi been looking into this for a while just through internet searches, we still have one of these LR Defender Cairngorm models, was bought new in 2001 from Charles Hurst Belfast, as stated in one of the early comments is a Metallic blue, with chequer plating, top side windows, sunroof, all sidesteps, ABS, traction control, would love to finally find some information on them

We had a member @Gingerlugs join and confirm it for us. He has a P38 one

They are a company in Scotland that would buy and kit out new vehicles and sell as new.
90s, RRs, FLs the lot, all I have seen so far are the same blue colour and have the CG badges.
Hope this helps

do you have these badges ?
i used to own a freelander cairngorm that was in the family for 12 years but sold it early 2020 iirc and its scrapped now so would be very intrested if you can get these badges new as when i was researching the cairngorm i couldnt find anything apart from that there was 150 made and 50 were rangies and 50 were discos/defenders (i cant remember) and the last 50 are unknown

Apart from the few vehicles I have seen, the only cairngorm thing I have seen for sale was a badge on eBay
Sticking a badge on doesn’t make it a cairngorm though, surely an evoque badge would be cheaper as no one wants them.
i want the cairngorm badge to make a rep of the freelander i had becuase it holds alot of sentimental value to me
