Need to change the brake accumulator. Is there any special precautions to be taken ? Is it under any pressure.
Thanks

I seem to remember that you're supposed to depressurise it first by pumping the brake pedal a few times beforehand...

Good idea. 30 stamps on it after the engine has stopped should do it. Proper procedure in RAVE.

Exactly which is why I pointed to Rave, it must be depressurised.

How,is the pump, it's not unheard of that a faulty pump or pressure switch gives similar symptoms.

I changed min entitling ago only took 30 mins including making coffee. Was on tight but managed to get a 22 mm spanner on the nut at top of the thread one push and it was loose.

Hi
Thanks for the replies, pressed brake pedal 35 times to make sure then had to loosen my lpg body to get to the brake pump then removed the 3 nuts holding it down and twisted it so I could get a 22mm spanner underneath.
All sorted now.
