can anyone point me in the right direction please.
We want to strip a 1997 P38 2.5 diesel to a running / rolling chassis, no body, no body control unit, but that common problem of the immobiliser is getting in my way. After hours of searches I am unable to find a solution to bypassing/removing the immobiliser, I can run the engine but have no way of contolling it other than going back to a manual pump. so my questions are:

- Has anyone found a way to trick the ecu by intercepting the few wires that link the BSI to the ECU.
- Do you know of someone who can reprograme the ECU to run the engine without the BSI saying ok.(I don't want to fit a reprogramed BSI as we are binning that)
- Do you know of a brand or supplier of a 'stand alone' ECU
