Hello my fellow rover lovers.
I'm hoping to get some expert advice on my 1998 p38 2.5 dse.

For some reason when I'm travelling down the road the suspension will just lift to the highest height setting automatically.

I find I have to pull over and press the lower down button on the dash to bring it back to standard height.

Even if I you the 'Lock' it in button the air will still inflate. I'm only doing about 30 - 40 mph on normal smooth roads.

Does anyone know what this could be?

Thank you in advice for your help.

Need diagnostics. Do you have the EASunlock software and appropriate cable? If not, send a message to Datatek on here and ask him how much he wants.

Probably a height sensor giving an odd reading.

Look at the white plug behind trim panel at bottom of passenger A post. It is the interface from height selection switch to ECU. Check for damp and verdigris.

I agree with that. Best cut the connectors out then solder and heatshrink the joints.
