I think the temp sensor is working okay 'cos when I set Hevac to 'auto', or to the demist prog, it takes a while to come on full, presumably 'til the water has heated up.
The faulty fan is going full all the time (or it would if I hadn't pulled the fuse)

Anyone got a schematic of the aircon pipework etc.?

Are you having air/con problems as well as a duff fan speed controller which is part of the fan housing as @wammers and @Datatek have said, you could buy a S/H fan and swop the controller over ( sorry threw a fan away last year) as for A/C nrv`s there is an expansion valve on the evaporator I believe if thats what you mean.

Thanks for the info chaps. I've a few things to do on the never ending list, but when I get to the blower and then the aircon that'll help. Cheers.

Finally, I have cured the heater blower problem. I ended up fitting another motor and all is working fine.
Even the book sign on the hevac has gone. Many Thanks to all.

No it was fairly easy. I replaced the r/h motor just remove the panel under the steering wheel, there is a plastic tube across in front of the motor, just bend it out of the way then you can undo the four bolts on it and two connectors.
It is then just a case of moving the motor about to remove.. Good Luck.

You make that sound quite easy! ;) Perhaps I'll tackle mine soon, weather goes on like this I'll need that blower...
