Hi All,
Can anybody please point me in the right direction of a link or thread for the removal and replacement of the front and rear air bladders EAS on a 1996 4.6 ltr p38 please. It belongs to a mate of mine although i think mine are on there way out too ( p38 w reg ) mine take an age to rise on a cold morning from exit level to standard ride height, however if you exit the car without lowering the suspension its vertually instant no matter how long its been standing. the change over from motorway height to standard ride height is seemless as is max height to standard. Would this point to leaky bladders or something else.
Any surgestions welcome.

If you are replacing springs it would be wise to buy the spring clips as some on here have sheared theirs when removing them.

Its very very easy to replace a bladder.
I have done all 4.

The trick is to jack up the vehicle so the weight is off the bags (especially when connecting the airlines). I dont think the rr site made that clear enough.

I reckon I can replace a spring now in about 30mins. (now that I know how). It took me 6 hours to do all 4 the 1st time.

I dont know why people convert to coils, the system is quite simple (and superior than coils) once you know how it all works.

Also, agree with Ant re the clips. I would replace with new ones.
