hi any ideas on what this is come home today while driving on the motorway lost powr suddenly for a while then it picked up again after and was fine it done that twice on me but round town its fine if anyone can help
thanks

You could try unplugging it and running the vehicle. If the problem seems cured/better with it unplugged then you have the answer.

The fuel consumption will be horendous with the MAF unplugged

hi thanks for the advice butafter reading the remedies there are not symptoms oim getting mine doesnt stall hot or cold just loses ower for about 30secs then comes back again but only loses powerat motorway speeds

i saw that one but again thats not what mine does when i floor it it goes no problems its only when im on the motorway doing 70+ it will be fine then al of a sudden lose power for 30 or so secs then comes back done a 60 mile trip on saturday and it happened twice not as soon as i hit 70 as i was doing 70for about 20 miles then it hapened lost power didnt stall dropped to about 50mph then came back again then after another say 10-15 miles it happened again then was fine till i got home

did you fix this problem? i'm having the same issues with mine, except today it totally stalled on a motorway, seems to only happen at 50+ and when going up a gradient.

i think the problem is the fuel pump or the filter.?

i've had the fuel lift pump and the fuel filter changed but and i thought it was fixed, but it has happened again. the fuelo lift pump definately did help though. i have no idea what the problem is. neither does my mechanic.

i will get the lift pump and new fuel filter fitted next week and see what happens.
can anyone reccomend a garage near the bishop auckland area in the north east to fit my lift pump ?

Ive been having the same problems im a newbie on R.R. Must be something to do with the fuel lines. I have a 2000 p38 4ltr. Runs fine on lpg but soon as i switch to petrol it loses power, again only on motorways above 50mph.
