I doubt that. I’m willing to put money you have one of the faster ones here. Mine was a slug real bad. The more I copied you more power I got :D is pretty nippy for its size and I know there is room for improvement

Mine is certainly no slouch, hot or cold. I don't bother much with the first third of the pedal travel though. :)

Can i use the press thingy pipes from my C clamp kit in a 20tonne press? Or do i need a specific press kit for it

Possibly. We're talking about the radius arm bush? The bush is bigger than the hole so getting it started is the problem. The official tool is tapered to guide it in. Others have squeezed the end with a hose clamp / jubilee clip to get it in. Some have even trimmed the leading edge although I don't like that idea.

nay, my bad.

ive purchased the special tool for the radius bushes. Im talking about the panhard bushes now, or like anything else in general which wont need to be compressed before, pressed.

As ive not owned/used a press before, im abit sceptic using sockets etc in order to press? May they not explode/shatter?
Or are sockets ok to use in a press?
Its handpumped, and not like an electric one pushing armageddon.

also the c clamp kit with the hollow cups and press cups, i assume they are all OK to press in a press? Im just afraid to break anything, or even hurt myself

but its just a press ayy, not much can go wrong? Used to press stuff with a vice and sockets..

Impact sockets are stronger but you should be OK. Slow and steady. Make sure everything is straight. Let it rest a bit if need be or use a little grease but something that won't attack rubber.

Not done my panhard rubbers yet. That's on the to-do list still. Think @brianp38dse did his with no issues?

The wall on the panhard rod bushes is quite thin and the end of the rod they go into is a tube welded on the end of a rod which makes it quite awkward to hold correctly, its a case of finding the right combination of sockets / tubes or what ever you can find to press then out sockets are ok to use

For the panhard rod it's a waste of time doing the rubbers IMO, a new rod is cheap enough.

I think you're thinking about wood. Get a grip.
You are...
get-out-leave.gif :p

Here and there is okay panhard one is probably a good one to do.

There are members have polybushed the whole lot which is bit of work. At that point/expense/bother you’d think it’s staying like that even if it ruins the vehicle, keep telling yourself they’ll settle in... then gone to all the trouble to revert to stock it was that unbearable
@oakey was one iirc?

Yep that was me
Went for "Comfort" polybushes and was undriveable due to vibration when hitting a pothole
Went for "Normal" polybushes and they made her handle and rattle and bang like my old leaf sprung Landy what a waste of time and money
Went for normal rubber and just grand
