There is a more traditional way to stitch cast iron but fs, newest is betterer right.

A good jab with a rod is best but it takes time. And its a bastid on yer back

1/2 inch stitches from end of crack to core plug end i think

Drilling the stop hole at the end might be a prob. Will see how the jb holds first

Lol. chipped or not. It's still less powerful than any other the stock engines available though.

A chipped M51 should be powerful enough for anyone. As said if you want a racing car buy a Porsche.

dosen't need a new propshaft as the 22 box has a spacer in it that takes up the extra length of the 24 box its basically a straight swap over using the diesel torque converter and bell housing. On the earlier 24 boxes the front pump may have to be changed over as well.

Thanks for the info. I'm trying the bandade first then May be a stitch or five before I go for the full open heart surgery route. If it gets to that I may need your knowledge quite a lot
