I’ve got a P1E30 fault code and seem to lack power in low gears. I’ve checked the hoses and changed the solinoid but the light won’t seem to reset. Any suggestions on what else to try??

Have you checked the vacuum hoses for holes?

Yes they all seem fine, however whilst checking I have pulled on the hose from the EGR valve and it’s came away from somewhere and I don’t know where it needs to go to, I presumed one long hose ran from the EGR to the solinoid bit this is a short bit of hose

It goes to the EGR control solenoid valve, which is under the inlet manifold (arrowed).

By the way, you have an EGR delete, just in case you didn't know.

Thanks, yes I knew it had the blank kit on, was just easier to explain using EGR, is the only way of getting to it by removing the manifold?

Which one of the 2 nozzles should it go on the left or the right

Am I right in thinking the vacuum hose from the EGR solinoid goes round to the boost control solinoid??
