guys,

Looking for a workshop manual more comprehensive than a haynes. There is the landrover workshop manual isnt there. Wheres the best place to buy one for my 300 defender? Dont fancy a cd or download as would rather have paper

Regards tom

Or you can buy the above in paperform 2nd hand from the bay of fleas for about £32.

I use the link Al2O3 put up, just print off the pages I want when I need them.

Cheers

Crackin idea! I presume you are adding them to a ring binder so you eventually end up with the full manual. :) You're not as daft as you look :p

I am, and don't you go telling anyone any different..........:p.........By the time I have finished with them they have absorbed so much oil they go in the bin mate.

Cheers

Guess which prawn is not as clever as you and printed it all off at once. Plenty of oily pages in it now though. Adds a certain patina, as they say on Wheeler Dealers :D

Are the Brooklands Manuals still available?
I've had mine almost 20 years and can still read it through the 'protective film' which seems to have accumulated through the years, although some of the pages are almost semi-transparent in places.:cool:

Thankyou for the reply’s guys!! Ill go down the print off when needed instead of buying and the link is perfect! Also does anyone else get grief from the other half when you say “just nipping out to sort a few issues”

You may find divorce is less hassle and cheaper in the long run..........

I reckon I'm dead lucky. The Mrs loves the Landy and it's her daily drive to work, so she's more that happy for me to work on it and keep it running as well as possible. :p:D

Blimey all 455 pages!.....................you must have been bored...LOL.

Cheers
You know when you start a "good idea" and then 4 hours later you're still only a third of the way through that maybe it's easier to just use you ipad to read it! I'd put this up there as nearly as dull as waxoiling.

Waxoyling is not dull, because afterwards you get to play the game of find out where it has stuck to on your body?? :D

Cheers
Try Dinitrol mate, it's easier to find the bits it didn't stick to.
After I did my rangie I looked like bleedin Stirling Moss when I took the mask and goggles off.:mad::mad:

The other thing I've found very useful is the parts list, which itself has a part number, no STC9021CC. The exploded diagrams are a bit small but I've found them really useful where you've got a lot of bits like washers and spacers and nuts and want to know what order and in what way round they go. A quick glance with a magnifying glass and away you go. Then at least you know what you need if anything wants replacing.

A lot of people seem to like the Rave manual, but I've never been able to get along with it.

A downloadable PDF parts catalogue is great if you have a smartphone/tablet, as you can zoom into the diagrams. A protective device case is recommended!
