Which fits????
It looks like it is in a position to fit somewhere near the back of the head. Dose not reach the injectors but can push half way down the head if that helps!
it doesnt fit anywhere, normally secured to rear of head with a clip, but can be fastened up where you like

Note to self..........
. . .
. before torqueing down the head ALWAYS ALWAYS ensure that nothing like, lets say, the temperature gauge wire and block is not. I repeat, is NOT lying across your new gasket and hanging down in to cylinder number 1 , or you will have to strip the engine down and start again!

That is all.

Ok so this fecking cnut of a vehicle will not give up spoiling my day.
Everything is now back together. Took it for a few miles last night, all appeared well.
Took in to work with me today to do a few things, like final flush of coolant system and refilling with antifreeze etc.
Noticed a bit of smoke blowing from the oil filler when I took the cap off...hm.
I had the car running on and off for agood few hours to check temp didn't rise etc.
Pulled out from the yard, all fine, slowed to round a car then gave it a bit of throttle!! SMOKE belching out the back for about 4 seconds then it clears.
I drive home giving it a bit of welly, bit of smoke here and there. Boot it up a long straight, get to the end, smoke coming from under the bonnet. Closer look I can see oil is ****ing out from somewhere behind inlet manifold area to the rear of the engine bay down on to the exhaust!!!.
Answers and ideas on a postcard please.

Like that bb? For one minute there I thought you was going to offer some advice on fixing a land rover!
