The in-tank fuel pumps on these fail. Then, under about a quarter of a tank, you can have starting issues. Air in the line is a fair indication.
They're not expensive and you can either drop the tank or have a look for CANYON's route in through the floor.

Ignore the 'RANGE' and the MPG readings in the message centre....they are at best 15-20% accurate....

Agreed. Mine wont show more than 13.7, and average speed of 26mph. Even after 200 miles on motorway. Took it on holiday to isle of white last year. 500 miles, averaged 15.9mpg, even though computer still said 13.7 and 26mph. Having said that mine hardly gets used, 50 ish miles a week at most, so that prob dont help.

You can cut a hole in the boot, a very easy job, I did mine and I put a how to with photos of how to do it, a LOT easier to do it that way, and when it fails again you already have the hole so its even simpler the second time to do, check your boot, someone may have already done it before saving you the hassle

nah! like things done properly ,,new pump got a good one vdo no fu@#ing olives....tank out only took 30min easy job,,,to busy to refit at mo,,,got a more reliable car as well so no stress,,,doin oil and filters while up in the air ,,this thing has been bother since buyin,,nice drive tho
