Hi there,

My name is Fred and i'm looking for a company that organizes greenlaning weekends in Kent & Sussex.
we are a group of greenlaning enthousiast (from Belgium) and would need a guide or company who does this kind of thing.

if you know somebody than please let me know.

bye.

if ya wanna come further North i'll show you around free of charge.. :)

if you wanna do same for me in belgium... :)

thanks for your offer & I will keep this in mind.
In Belgium it is very hard to find greenlanes that are open to motorised vehicles.
problem is that most our roads are tarmac and the others are bicycle roads and for pedestrians.Private terrains are the only option here.

yr welcome... hope you get sorted..

there are companies that organise trips but we try not to advertise them on here, so you will just have to do an internet search and hope you find somethin..

good luck..

we have no greenlanes but if you want to come over for a nice beer, you're always welcome.
:)

Hiya - I live in Folkestone, Kent and know of no companies.

However I have a web site for the local council with all the Byways marked in brown lines. If you can read a map then you can sort your own for free!!!

Introduction to the map

Click on "start to use interactive map"
Then click to zoom in and the lines will show up when close enough.

Be warned though some of Kents byways are VERY narrow and branches and twigs WILL scratch your paint!! But thats half the fun.
Oh and make sure you have no roof racks or any thing fitted because some trees will grab them off!!

Keep an eye on the Greenlaning and Off Roading sections on here, people are always organizing trips out up and down the country.
I have heard of companies that do organized trips out (don't know the names though), but they tend to charge a lot of money for something that can generally be done for free with a little forward planning

Thanks James, i will certainly have a look on the site.
the reason i prefer guided tours is to avoid problems with locals.
one car passing useally is not a problem but when twelve cars do the same it is not so funny. a local guide useally knows the people and it is less of a problem.

hello i will keep an eye on this one what dates are you thinking of

we are planning our trip 15-18 august 2013.
i know that is still a long way but the sooner we have a destiny, the sooner i can book hotels, etc.

every year we do a trip with our club and each year somebody else has to organise this.

this year it is my turn.

we have done already the peak district and wales.
