Well, going to be ordering a new set of 5 A/T wheels and tyres, and a 2" suspension lift kit tomorrow for my 110. :D:D:D I want a bearmach light-duty lift kit which will give me 2" lift with a light load on board. Going to be ordering this from MM-4x4.com - anybody got any experience with these guys?

My current suspension is sagging, creaking and rusty, so it definitely needs doing.

With regards to the wheels, is it best to order a package deal or to buy wheels and tyres separately then get them fitted by a garage? Also, with a 2" lift, what sort of size should I be looking at? Originally I was thinking 235/85/16 but I think it would look better with some bigger boots on. Not sure how big I can go though.

Cheers any advice appreciated :);)

Aye... slightly over me budget there, got around £650 to spend on wheels tyres max :D I've found the suspension kit I want for £230, which I'm pleased about :D:D

I'm hoping (when i can afford) to get some mud terrains on those rims i won so i have a road set and offroad set. I guess you could compromise with an AT set but wont be as good off road and will be noiser on road. life is a compromise!

land rover defender/series steel rims x 5 on eBay (end time 06-Jun-10 22:07:59 BST)

I think 235 85 16s will look tiddly if youve got a 2" lift... but maybe its only me. personally i'd probably go for 265 or bigger but it depends how you are going to use them?

Well, end of this month we will be driving out across Europe to Morocco where the tyres will be subjected to harsh rocky terrain and dirt, but not much mud. The car is also my every day driver, so that's why I've decided against MTs. I agree, 235/85 will look too small on it with the lift, so that's why I'm asking what size people think I should go to, and where I should get them from :D

Also, doing all the fluids next week - I know I need EP90 for the transfer box and axles, and ATF for the main gearbox, but how much of each will I need for a renewal?? :) Ta.

Nice that looks about perfect... would you recommend any A/T in that size, preferably under £100 a corner?

Was looking at the AT2 before - if I buy 5 of them and 5 steel wheels from Paddocks for example, how much roughly does it cost to get the tyres fitted and balanced?
