I know Mick, I know. Don’t remind me! They do look and feel superb quality items though and I do like good quality stuff. That’s why I don’t want to put a mark on them.

Don't drill them once drilled they may corrode I'd drill the door those hinges are too nice and expensive to be drilling the other solution would be to just do without heated wing mirrior's and return them.

This is how I have mine connected up.
The mirrors have actually been wired up like that for over 15-years so it works well plus there is no drilling to be done. The Optimill hinges were fitted a couple of years ago. Don't have any better photos at the moment.
Got myself the rears as well.

Door-handles last year, lovely pieces of kit.

Aha! Good man! This could be the answer to my problem. I can’t make out where your wires go from the mirror arm. Can you elaborate please?

Like I said, I don't have any recent photos showing how the conduit is routed but I have dug out one from 2003 that shows it when I had the Large head Britax mirrors and no snorkel.

Great, thanks for the pic. I assume that routes through the bulkhead grometts and into the dash area. I think that’s how I’ll do it although my sleeving is already routed out the bottom of the mirror arm.
Thanks very much for that sir!
