hi guys wondered if anyone might be interested in a red top battery
i,ve dropped on a few of these from a mate
they are brand new unused ready to fit
i,m in Leeds but can meet around yorkshire if it makes things easier

there £85 each cheers

As far as im aware i think they are dry cell batteries, they can take a hell of a beating off road.

I would take on but simply cant afford it :(
 
Can i take one please mate? Ill give. You a pm when im home, in an 88 truck at the moment with not much battery! Hahaha typcal eh? ;)
 
I had one of these in my 90 300 tdi and it made a huge difference. The redtop optimas have a very high CCA (i think its about 850 from memory?) which is what you want on a diesel. Also as a dry cell they have very low self discharge rates so you can leave it for several months and it will still have plenty of juice to start your battery (provided you havent got something draining it of course)

They don't last that long if you, errm, don't have an alternator belt and, errm, don't realise and keep stopping and starting your engine all day :eek: (whilst also running a laptop)

But... yes, they are good batteries if the above scenario is not attempted!

just working postage out with abcdedd
struggling with couriors at min there saying cant post car batterys haha
tried telling them they are sealed n not full of acid
still not getting anywhere yet with them
