Seen an 03 4.4 L322 on the bay as a non runner. Its described as "There is an engine fault, not diagnosed". Its only a couple of miles away so easy to get home and going for a few hundred notes. Hoping to have a look tomorrow. Is there an easy way to identify if its an immobiliser issue? Does the immobiliser cut the power to the fuel pump when cranking?

I have read a lot of SaintV8's warnings on the complexity of these beasts. Given the cost of it, it could give a healthy return though.

Don't worry, the bidding is now more than I would pay for a punt. I'll still have a look at it so I can keep an eye on it. If the buyer lets him down again I'll give him an offer. That's how I got my P38 so might work.

Sounds really suspect. esp as it cannot be driven away.
Either it is seized, or the transmission is ferked.

It does feel a bit suspect as he's reluctant for me to see it. I said 10am tomorrow and he said that it was too close to the end of the auction which ends at 1pm. I left a msg say to CTC me if the deal falls through.

Is that in reply to mine? Did I give you the right link? Nice black s/c , sitting at just over £1k at the moment.
That was a general reply about that seller but I ND”d and missed out some words, I’ve edited my post.
Is a nice SC in black, what is wrong with it?

Wouldn't mind having that one..

Gutting the motor and building something special ;)
