Freelander 1 1.8 Petrol 2002.
I have today joined this forum for some much needed knowledge!!

I know there have been many threads on this issue but would like to understand what I can do. The clutch was biting just off the floor and it is difficult to change gear, I have changed the master / slave cylinder system plus new bracket and there is no difference. I have since noticed that the kit I fitted was STC000180 for pre 200 cars and that SC000160 was for 2002 cars, the only difference I can find is that the tube between the cylinders is different for fixing to the bulkhead, is there any other difference such as cylinder stroke?
Does anyone have any idea about what else the problem could be?
