OK - I'll let him know that WSR! Maybe I'll leave it a day or two though - Its snowing massively here. I dont want my pokey bits poking out!!

As a red blood with ,hopefully, a few more miles to go, I hope he's flattered by the attention his nearest and dearest is getting. I think you look damn good on a horse. They get stuck in the snow too you know! I bet your Rangie doesn't. Yes filling one up is downright scary on petrol from a low fuel light, it could be worse, I've a workmate with an Alfa 156 that costs him the same to fill up! What would you prefer? Good news-my 4.6 autobiography on a full tank of petrol will go about 480 miles on average consumption, which ain't so bad, I've had several Jaguars with worse (and a 3.5 vogue classic that averaged 14mpg in my ownership of some 70K miles). Just remember how much more comfy your Rangie is compared to your Disco(nowt wrong with Discos before the e mail storm)

dont worry about the pokey out bits. they will come in handy to hang me overalls on :nopics:

well money talks send all photos to me ill pay you and put them on the net in no time.
gool luck and have fun with your rangie:monitor_punch:

I will get some pix - I'm not sure what my Husband will think though??.....'Dearest, can you possible yake some photos of me in the snow in my bikini so that the gentlemen on LZ can decided If I'm worthy of my P38 :D'

D'ya think he'll mind??..............

There was this song “She Wore An Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini' which was a real hit here in Oz and in the UK back in 1960. Now you could tell hubby that you are merely into historical re-enactment but you would have to wear yellow and it would have to be.....well.... itsy.........;)

Not bad an average of 22mpg if you drive to an empty tank.:screaming_bug_eye_f:screaming_bug_eye_f

Don't know what my petrol consumption has to do with Andrea's bikini, but yes the computer says 23.1 most of the time and I'm happy! It doesn't if I'm in traffic or urban mind!!! Since I drive mostly on single point lpg I don't use lots of revs, cause the first time I did it cost me an airbox from the back flash and made the bonnet, me and Joanne jump, but not as much as the dawdling Merc driver I was passing

I'll own up -I peaked. But the weather conditions were so abysmall that there was a terrible whiteout. Either that or my spectacles fogged up from all the heavy breathing...hehe. ;)

This is true, but there seems a higher risk after fitting a gas system from the overall opinions/posts here, but as I run a doozzell I can only go on others opinions.

Mind you dozzells need a good cooling system as well....

That's all it is - opinions.

I'm going to change my profile name to Fiona Flexiknickers and see if I can't get pages and pages of help each time - well done Geoff ( erm - I mean Andrealouisea) told you it would work.

Don't post the photos - that would blow us completely.

If a V8 shows 23.1 mpg on the trip computer. The computer is broken.:D:D:D

Err, that shouldn't happen!! You wanna get that looked at, you should be able to full throttle an LPG car quite happily. Mine has backfired on LPG, but only if it tries to switch over too early (vapouriser not vapourising!) or when it ran out of LPG once, but never during normal driving...

When I was working up norf last year, I ended up averaging 21mpg over 8K miles, trip said 22. Now I'm back in the smoke it's in the mid teens as you'd expect. So yes a carefully driven 4.6 can give you low 20s. I never managed over 15mpg out of my Classic Vogue 3.9 Efi, no matter how I drove it.
