The 110 pick up I have sits that bit higher at the back, I'm thinking this is how they left the factory? I think it would look better with the arches sitting more or less the same distance over the wheels ( front and rear ) , dont really want to lift the front and wondering if any of you guys have tackled the same issue and lowered the rear a tad ? cheers

Try and identify the springs. If they are genuine springs, they should have colour bands, and can be identified from the spring chart.

It may be that heavy duty springs have been fitted in the past. Forum consensus is that they are generally not needed, and will ruin your back.

So you could change them, or, like he says, ^^^^^^, couple of sacks of sand in the back will probably deal.
 
Yep understand the reasoning for the raised rear , can I simply find softer springs through lr parts or paddocks ?

So as a layman, I'm trying to figure out the best option to soften the rear looking at the charts, the existing springs at first glance are so rusty and paint has alas gone, so I'm lost as to confirm these are standard utility or heavy duty that's on there, do I plumb for a 90 utility spring or purchase a spring or obtain a 110 spring -50mm in height ?

A mate ran his 110 on 90 rear's for a better ride as he did not carry heavy loads. However the spring diameter is less, easy enough to change axle spring pans but had weld pans into the larger 110 turret so springs would seat.

Gotcha, there's always a knock on effect isn't there, welding isn't my forte and would like to tackle the job myself at home, I won't be carrying any weight , so no worries on that part , thanks for the feedback at least I now know the score

Looking at them photos, are you sure the problem isn’t the front springs are the wrong ones? The rear looks ok to me, but the front looks a bit low. Could just be the camera angle.

If you measure from your wheel arch to the centre of the wheel, post the dimension, and I will try and remember to do the same tomorrow. Post up all 4 wheels as they usually have different springs from left to righ.
 
So we are looking approx 100mm difference in height front to back , passenger side 540 rear 460 front
drivers side 560 rear 460 front
it's probably the line of the arch extension causing the difference in sizes , it actually rides well fairly bouncy but maybe just that tad hard at the rear , it's had new shocks and new bushes where needed which must help with the ride ,
