as per title, the river Don Near me split its banks yesterday so decided to have a run out with a few mates as it was reported some one was stranded. There was a car floating half way through the mile long flooded section but was abandoned, no idea how it got that far, the water was over the windscreen wipers in places. Any way i know how much you all love pics so here we are

looks like fun, sadly it was 29 degrees here today with blistering sunshine, as you can tell im gutted:rolleyes::cool:

Great pics!

Are your breather tube extensions inside the cab? I understand they are usually clipped to the snorkel.

EDIT also, is that a TD5 by any chance and, if so, what's the situation re isolating the ECU from the wet stuff?

Sorry for the bone questions - I'm relatively new to all this.

Nice one, great pics too :) We got a bit of flooding round our way nothing to shout about tho. However, one of the guys in our club managed to get pulled over and fined £30 for driving thru flood waters - apparently you're not supposed to just ignore 'road closed' signs if you think they don't apply to land rover owners!

I'm jealous Tim!

Although mine might end up stranded too :(

I haven't had chance to test its long term wading capability in a relatively safe environment. Don't want to spend too long in corwen just in case! :D

Cracking pics though mate well done I've always wanted to do that.

And yeah of you see a road closed sign and get a fine, oh well it was only like going to a PNP :D
